We want to support everyone in our community who lives with poor mental health. Based at the gardens at the rear of Christ Church (High Street, Tunbridge Wells TN1 1UT), Flourish offers a wide range of horticultural activities including clearing beds, potting on, tidying, sowing seeds, planting a wide range of vegetables and flowers, watering and taking care of plants and preparing produce to be given to others in our community.

We believe that the benefits of a sustained and active interest in gardening are extensive and include better physical health through exercise, improved mental health through a sense of purpose and achievement, the opportunity to connect with others – reducing feelings of isolation or exclusion, acquiring new skills to improve the chances of finding employment and just feeling better for being outside, in touch with nature and in the great outdoors.
