We provide user registration services to make it as easy as possible for you to find local activities that match your needs and to make it easier for you to refer yourself into community and micro-provider services.
When you register your interest in a local service, we will forward your contact details and the reason for your referral and any notes you choose to enter to the local service provider.
We will also hold this information ourselves, to allow you to register your interest in another service without having to complete a new contact details form.
We may also ask for ethnicity, disability, DOB, gender and employment status. This information is held by Simply Connect and the lead partner managing the service and is not shared with service providers.
This data collections helps us and the local partner to carry out equal opportunities monitoring. By choosing to submit this information you consent to the processing of this information by us. This data will be anonymised before being shared with any third parties. You will always have the ‘prefer not to say’ option when providing sensitive data.
Information you provide is also collated to help us to support the voluntary and community sector evidence demand and need for their services. It is also collected to help inform commissioners of the types of services residents want to access, and any reviews you leave help us inform other potential users of the site what to expect when using a particular service.
Unless you choose to tick the relevant boxes, you will not receive further mailings other than a reply to your enquiry from the service provider.
Your details are automatically removed from our database if you have not used your account for more than six years. We will also remove your details if we are unable to contact you or you do not confirm your email address.
You are entitled to ask for a copy of the information we store about you. You are entitled to ask us to amend data you hold about you if you believe it is incorrect. You are entitled you ask that we delete your personal data that we hold.
